Open the DMG and drag Lona to Applications

Double-click the downloaded file and drag the app icon to the Applications folder.

Grant Accessibility & Microphone permissions

Lona needs Accessibility to type for you and Microphone to hear you. The app will guide you through both.

Connect the app to your Lona account for AI polishing and live suggestions.

Having trouble opening?

Lona is currently in beta and not yet notarized with Apple. If macOS says the app “can’t be opened”, try one of these:

Option 1: Right-click the app → Open → click “Open” in the dialog
Option 2: Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security → scroll down and click “Open Anyway”
Option 3: Run in Terminal: xattr -cr /Applications/Lona.app
